Give yourself permission
Self care is letting go.
Self care is prioritizing.
Self care is allowing yourself or your kids
to just perform at good.
Perfect is the enemy of good. It's okay to admit when
you don't know what to do. Teachers, families, and
our students all need to focus on the effort not the
outcome. Report cards are available soon, be flexible
with where your students are and be mindful of their
effort.
Teachers are performing at their all time best! They are
using their expertise, every tool and trick. Parents are
more involved in the learning process than ever. And
students are doing their best work.
What are your coping skills?
"The Work of You"
No one is coming
to save you,
to give you permission,
to choose you,
or validate you.
This has always
been your job.
You must love yourself
so fiercely
and fully
that you have no other choice
but to be strong
for yourself,
to fight for yourself,
to be yourself,
and to build yourself.
